  • When my ex husband passed Jason and staff were thoughtful and caring. The services were beautiful and they have been nothing but helpful with any and all questions we have had, through the hardest time in our lives. I would highly recommend them.

Horrible!!! I've been to many funerals at this funeral home, and I cannot believe of all times, the worst experience I've had was for one of the most important people in my life...MY MOTHER! First thing first, they screwed up the obituary! We gave them the names of everyone they asked for and spelled everything out for them...look up the obituary, and they never listed everyone on the obituary, and the people they did put on there had their name spelled wrong! We walked into the funeral home to find that there was another dead body lying there, with the casket wide open for everyone to see! VERY DISRESPECTFUL! My mother's service started at noon, and the other gentleman's service wasn't until 6 or 7 that night...therefore, that body sat there, out of the freezer from before noon until after his services were over later that night!!! There was no funeral going on for the other man, but yet we got stuck in this little dinky room to do a service for my mother. We were told that we got put in the small room, because the gentleman that was in the big room died first?.?.?.? The room was so small there was hardly enough room for my dad and us kids to sit in the front row. They made my 45 year old mother look like she was 80 years old! There was one person working the service at the funeral home and there was no direction anywhere! Nobody was greeted as they walked in the door, nobody was asked if they needed tissues...we ran out of tissues! Nobody was seated as they entered the funeral home, so my grandfather and aunts and uncles, were all shoved to the back of the room, as they should have been in the 2nd row! The gentleman at the funeral home was discussing with one of my family members about how he had 3 more dead bodies out back...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I called the funeral home the next day to get the jewelry back that my mother had on because she was being cremated...they told me I could not get the jewelry back because she was already in the "cremation process." Not sure why we were not asked if we wanted it back before we left the funeral home, but to my understanding, after a service is done, they are supposed ask about the jewelry. After that, I went in to drop off the cremation urns...the gentleman told me he would get them done and have them the following day...I asked that he wait because I was still waiting on a couple more keepsake urns that would be in the next day, he said no problem. He asked me if he wanted me to wait to divide the ashes, I said yes and he said ok, I will have them ready on Thursday. I then find out Wednesday night that my mother's ashes were already being let out of the funeral home on Wednesday, to somebody other than myself, my dad or my brothers...apparently Joe Smith can walk into the funeral home, give them a keepsake for some ashes, and they just fill it and let it go out the door...MY MOTHER'S ASHES WERE BEING RELEASED TO ANYBODY THAT WALKED IN THERE WITH A KEEPSAKE AND WE WERE NOT ASKED OR ACKNOWLEDGED!!!
I wouldn't take my dead fish back to this funeral home, let alone another loved one!
